Raising and educating kids with dyslexia

About dysconnect

Welcome! Dysconnect is about dyslexia and traveling. Firstly, having dyslexia means there is a disconnect between the brain and those letters and characters that make up words on the page. This makes reading, spelling and writing difficult. How frustrating is that! In my blog I will relate a parent’s experience, advice and information on dyslexia. Secondly, traveling on vacation, sightseeing and exploring are our family’s way of disconnecting with the daily routine of life – a chance to get away from it all to relax and adventure into the world. I hope the chronicles of our travels will inspire your own adventures. As a family, we have interconnected dyslexia and traveling. With two out of three of our children having dyslexia, our adventures are a way our kids can be educated apart from reading books. So again, welcome, I invite you to join our world of dysconnect.
